Supplies:
- Picture frames in the size and color of your choosing to fit the scale and design of your space
- Prints to fit the frames
- Glue gun and hot glue sticks
- Clocks- mine were only $7 at Walmart
- Custom "What a Difference a Day Makes" art. (I'm working on figuring out how to add downloads on here.)
- A picture frame to fit your custom art
- Vinyl/family saying/sign/nothing
- Tooth paste to help hang the pictures- just trust me. I'll explain.
To Do:
- Order some prints online. I prefer Costco. They have yet to disappoint me.
- While waiting for the prints to be finished, print your custom art, shop for clocks, frames & a snack. Never a good idea to create on an empty stomach.
- After you've gotten all of your supplies, set the clocks to the time your child(ren) were born, put the prints in the frames and decided on your preferred arrangement.
- Remove the glass and fillers from your art/center frame. Run a thin strip of hot glue around the inside lip of the frame and place the glass inside.
- Using teeny tiny dots of hot glue on the front corners of the custom date art, attach the paper to the inside of the glass.
- Measure from the ceiling down/floor up/doorway in/you get the idea for the spacing top to bottom and side to side for each of your frames.
- Turn your frames over and put a dab of toothpaste ON the frame hanger. Line the top of the frame up with the spacing/height measurement you already made and press the frame against the wall. The toothpaste will mark the wall right where you need to put your nail or screw. No more guessing. You're welcome. Repeat with each of your items.
- If you'd like, hang something above all of your pictures etc. such as "Family." Mine didn't turn out and is coming down but I thought I'd share it just so you could get the idea.
